Beghou is building out a dedicated Launch PMO capability within our Launch Excellence practice, and this role sits at the center of it. The Launch PMO Manager is a player-coach position: client-facing, billable, and deeply embedded in active engagements, while simultaneously responsible for designing and continuously improving the processes and tools that make the practice scalable.

This person will work closely with Beghou's internal PMO resources to define standards where they apply across practice areas and draw meaningful distinctions where launch-specific needs require a different approach. The right candidate is equally comfortable presenting governance structures to a biotech leadership team and rolling up their sleeves to build the infrastructure behind them.

This role picks up at the end of assessment and owns delivery from there -- building the governance infrastructure, running the execution, and developing the team underneath. Over time, this person will become the operational backbone of Beghou's Launch Excellence practice and a key contributor to how we scale the capability across clients.

We'll Trust you to:

Client Delivery

  • Join engagements at the close of the assessment phase to establish launch readiness governance, including cadence design, reporting structures, and cross-functional accountability frameworks
  • Lead the ongoing launch PMO operations for clients, including launch readiness scorecards, integrated brand team governance, milestone tracking, and risk and issue management
  • Serve as a senior day-to-day client contact, managing relationships across commercial, medical, market access, and operations functions
  • Supervise and develop Project Managers and Analysts executing on the launch plan

Practice Building

  • Continue building out Beghou's Launch PMO toolkit, including templates, reporting frameworks, governance models, and launch readiness assessment criteria
  • Partner with internal PMO leadership to define shared standards and document where launch-specific requirements diverge
  • Synthesize learnings across client engagements to establish and maintain best practices for the practice
  • Support the Partner leading Launch Excellence on solution design, scoping, and proposal development for new engagements


You’ll need to have:
  • 10 years of experience in life sciences consulting, pharma/biotech commercial operations, or program management in a launch context
  • Demonstrated experience standing up PMO structures and governance frameworks, ideally in a first-time launch or pre-commercial environment
  • Strong client presence and comfort presenting to director through C-suite stakeholders
  • Experience managing and developing junior team members
  • Familiarity with launch readiness frameworks, cross-functional launch planning, and commercial operations in emerging biopharma

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 to $240,000.
