Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid internship based in Atlanta, GA, for a Public Relations Intern. This internship is intended for students seeking school credit as part of an academic program. It is an unpaid position.
We're looking for a Public Relations Intern who wants real experience in music and entertainment PR, media relations, and press strategy. You'll report directly to the Publicity lead and play an active role in building media coverage and press visibility for our artist roster. This is a role for someone who can write clean, on-brand press copy, stay organized across multiple outreach threads, and treat every placement like it matters.
Position Details

- Access to a computer and reliable internet connection required
- Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing or transportation accommodations)
Job Responsibilities
- Write press materials (press releases, media pitches, media alerts) and artist news copy for label and press use
- Assist with media outreach, including building and maintaining relationships with editorial contacts
- Track media coverage using free online tools and compile campaign results reports
- Conduct research to support press strategy, including identifying and vetting new outlets for outreach
- Assist with media interview coordination for artists and label spokespeople
- Participate in publicity and communications planning meetings
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student or recent graduate in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Music Business, or Media Relations
- Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Genuine interest in music industry PR and media relations
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable managing deadlines and working remotely when needed
