Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR functions at Befesa Barnwell. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing human capital processes, facilitating talent acquisition, employee onboarding, and maintaining HR systems. Your proactive approach will help ensure smooth HR operations, foster positive employee relations, and contribute to strategic workforce planning.
Duties
- Coordinate talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels and managing applicant.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company culture.
- Support employee evaluation processes by assisting with performance management initiatives and maintaining accurate HR data.
- Administer benefits programs, including benefits enrollment, payroll processing via platforms like ADP and UKG, and workers' compensation claims.
- Contribute to employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries related to employment policies, labor law compliance (FMLA, OSHA), and conflict management.
- Support change management initiatives and organizational design projects aligned with strategic planning goals.
- Answering a multiple line phone system
- Maintain and work with vendors to keep printers, phones and various computers throughout the facility operational.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within HR environments.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, workers' compensation procedures, OSHA regulations, and affirmative action planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work with Excel in order to maintain and develop spreadsheets.
