Restaurant Dishwasher

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Restaurant Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized, supporting the overall operation of the restaurant. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience in restaurant or kitchen settings preferred.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health standards
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates as needed to support smooth restaurant operations
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and assisting with catering or banquet setups when required
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation policies at all times
• Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by performing general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
• Assist in food service activities including serving guests when necessary and supporting catering events

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen staff and servers
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Experience with bussing, food preparation, or culinary tasks such as cooking or banquet service is a plus
• Prior hotel or catering experience is advantageous but not mandatory
