We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Store Supervisor to lead our retail team and ensure the smooth operation of our store. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales, optimize inventory management, and foster a positive shopping environment. All roles are paid positions, including internships.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and deliver excellent customer service
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge
- Oversee recruiting efforts, interview prospective employees, and participate in hiring decisions
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and maintain accurate records of store financials
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures while fostering a positive work environment
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or grocery stores with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, retail math, merchandising, and POS systems
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, budgeting, and sales management is highly desirable
- Knowledge of wireless sales, grocery store operations, or retail marketing is advantageous
- Ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of store management
