Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Perform repairs on appliances including refrigeration systems, electrical components, plumbing connections, and mechanical parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures, timelines, and safety precautions.
- Document all service activities accurately in company systems and complete detailed reports for each job.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards related to electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other technical areas.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair or field service roles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with schematics and ladder diagrams is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, HVAC components, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and assembly techniques necessary for appliance installation and repair.
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills in client interactions.
- Background in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), with knowledge of electrical work and equipment repair processes.
