Duties
- Greet customers warmly in both English and the second language, creating a friendly shopping atmosphere
- Assist customers by providing detailed product information and conducting engaging product demonstrations
- Upsell complementary items and promote current promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing products, and conducting regular stock checks
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Strong communication skills in both languages are essential for effective customer interactions
