Key Responsibilities
As General Manager, you will be responsible for growing studio revenue, building brand awareness in the local community, and delivering a consistently elevated experience for every client.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager located in Pensacola. The General Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the team, developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with existing members. Day-to-day tasks include setting sales targets, monitoring sales performance, and providing training and support to the team.
Your role will include:
- Making outbound calls or texts to follow up with leads and drive membership sales
- Leading studio tours, client consultations, and in-person sales conversations
- Managing the sales pipeline and meeting or exceeding monthly revenue targets
- Overseeing studio operations, including staff management, cleaning, and overall facility upkeep
- Executing local marketing events, partnerships, and community outreach efforts
- Developing and maintaining a 90-day grassroots marketing calendar
- Tracking and analyzing KPIs to improve team performance
- Coaching and supporting front desk team members to meet individual goals
- Resolving client concerns and ensuring a high-quality, personalized experience
- Handling operational tasks such as scheduling, reporting, inventory, and client management
- Taking initiative to solve problems, improve studio performance, and lead by example
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, fitness/wellness studio management, or a membership-based business
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
- Experience with outbound calling, lead follow-up, and appointment setting
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a results-oriented environment
Must be comfortable working weekends (2–3 Saturdays/month) and managing day-to-day studio operations
Preferred:
- Experience in boutique fitness, spa, cryotherapy, or wellness environments
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Mindbody, Zenoti, ClubReady, or similar)Experience executing or participating in local events, pop-ups, and brand activations
- Social media knowledge for basic promotion or content collaboration
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week, including 2–3 weekends/month)
Includes evenings and weekends for local events
