Studio Sales Manager / General Manager – beem® Light Sauna, Florham Park, NJ
Are you a motivated sales leader with a passion for wellness, connection, and growth?
The Studio Sales Manager / General Manager is responsible for leading our studio, driving membership growth (sales and marketing success), inspiring a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences every day. You will also ensure that the studio is well-maintained, and all operations are running smoothly. Work closely with Studio Owner and beem® Corporate Sales team to ensure health and profitability of the studio.
What You’ll Do
Revenue Growth & Lead Generation:
- Responsible for sales, marketing, lead generation and membership strategy for revenue growth.
- Create and execute an ongoing marketing plan based on studio needs with a focus on new client acquisition, activation, retention and loyalty.
- Generate leads through but not limited to; B2B networking, partnerships, grassroots marketing, community engagement, local events and lead generation from interactions.
- Manage and grow all revenue streams including memberships and retail to meet membership and monthly revenue goals.
- Management of digital communications including but not limited to social media, email campaigns, and text campaigns, etc.
- Ensure retaining members for as long as possible and increase membership referrals.
- Provide excellent service and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, supervise, and manage high-performing staff.
- Train team members in consultative sales and customer engagement techniques.
- Coach and empower a team of Wellness Associates to exceed goals.
- Foster a positive, high-energy culture that reflects beem®’s mission and values.
- Set clear expectations, lead meetings, and ensure team accountability.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all aspects of studio operations, including inventory management, cleanliness, performance management and compliance/adherence to the policies and standards.
- Manage studio budget, spending, and reporting.
- Participate in studio, regional and company-wide meetings and training as needed.
Who You Are
- 2 years’ experience in sales/management (fitness, health, wellness, or spa preferred).
- Proven success in lead generation, follow-up, and conversion.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, nurture, and sustain B2B partnerships.
- Skilled in managing all revenue streams including memberships, packages, and retail.
- Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
- Experienced in supervising teams, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Highly organized, reliable, professional, and punctual.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information with caution.
- Maintains respect and collaborates effectively with clients, staff, and the public.
- Ability to articulate product/service knowledge to promote memberships.
- Proficient with PC/Mac, studio software, and CRM tools (Mindbody or similar).
Physical Requirements
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods.
- May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time.
- May be required to reach with hands/arms and able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car.
- Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone
