Assistant Superintendent - River Terminal Operations

Beelman River Terminal is currently hiring for an Assistant Superintendent for our Venice, IL Terminal. This position will help oversee all operations at the river terminal located in Venice, IL as well as our other river terminals as needed.

Pay: $80,000 - $120,000/year based on experience.

Schedule: 7:00am – 5:00pm, with one Saturday a month and an occasional Sunday from time to time.

Job Responsibilities

· Must have experience with operation and maintenance of heavy equipment (front end loader, excavator, dozer and skid steer).

· Must have experience with operation and maintenance of conveyor belt systems.

· Some maritime shipping experience (River, Lake, Ocean) preferred.

· High school diploma or GED certificate

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Responsible for managing up to 30 employees.

· Must be willing and able to work nights/weekends/holidays as needed

· Must be willing and able to work and stay out of town as required.
