Post Close, Lock & Secondary Markets Specialist

What You’ll Do:
Rate Lock & Pricing Management
- Manage daily lock requests, extensions, and changes for mortgage loans.
- Ensure accurate pricing for every loan to protect company revenue.
- Monitor market trends, investor pricing, and interest rate movements to make informed lock decisions.
- Communicate rate lock policies, market updates, and pricing guidance to internal teams.
Post-Closing Operations
- Review completed loan files to ensure all post-close documentation is accurate and complete.
- Coordinate with Title Companies for signing times and balancing Lender wire
- Managing Warehouse lines and sending wires for closings
- Coordinate with internal teams and external investors to finalize loan delivery.
- Resolve purchase conditions and suspense items promptly to secure timely funding.
- Tracking down Recorded Mortgages and Final Lender Policies on purchased loans.
- Transfering Insurance Mortgagees into a new servicer.
Secondary Market Execution & Risk Management
- Manage the sale and delivery of closed loans to investors in compliance with investor guidelines.
- Monitor locked pipelines to manage exposure, optimize hedge positions, and maximize profitability.
- Support the onboarding of new investors, products, and pricing structures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and investor policies while mitigating risk.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on pipeline status, hedge performance, and market conditions.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities in loan pricing, locks, and secondary market execution.
What You Bring
- 2 years of experience in Lock Desk, Secondary Markets, or Post-Close operations within mortgage lending.
- Knowledge of RESPA, TILA, QM, and other mortgage regulations as they relate to pricing, locks, and loan delivery.
- Familiarity with Agency and Non-QM products and secondary market execution.
- Experience with pricing engines (e.g. Optimal Blue PPE) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
