Compensation Range: $50,000 to $55,000
Position Type: Full-Time
Expected Hours/Days of Work: Monday through Friday, normal daytime business hours. Able to travel with short notice. NO REMOTE WORK. On site (Office) regular business hours. Elk Grove Village, IL USA

What you’d be doing:
Assistant project manager duties include supporting project managers with planning, execution, and monitoring projects from start to finish. Key responsibilities include managing schedules, budgets, and resources, communicating with stakeholders, preparing reports, and handling administrative tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. They also help with risk identification, problem-solving, and coordinating the project team.
Project support and planning
- Assist in developing project plans and strategies.
- Contribute to project planning from inception to completion.
- Help create and maintain project budgets and estimates.
- Support the management and coordination of project tasks and deliverables.
Communication and coordination
- Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Liaise with different departments and project leads.
- Facilitate communication between office and field staff.
Administration and reporting
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, phone calls, and site visits.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, preparing invoices, and managing project documentation.
- Track and prepare progress reports and presentations for project reviews.
- Enter and manage information in digital project databases.
Monitoring and problem-solving
- Monitor project progress and performance.
- Help identify potential risks and develop solutions.
- Problem-solve issues and suggest areas for process improvement.
- Ensure project goals are being met and that projects adhere to the schedule
What we’re looking for:
- A high level of mathematical acumen and attention to detail is required.
- Experience working with domestic and overseas suppliers is preferred but not necessary.
- Expeditor and Expediting skills
- Project Management expertise
- Knowledge of inspection processes
- Experience in logistics management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Experience in the marketing or merchandising industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
