Position Mission:
To support boiler installations, repairs, and maintenance while gaining hands-on training, technical skills, and safety knowledge under the guidance of experienced boiler technicians.
Overview:
Beehive Plumbing is hiring a Boiler Apprentice to join our growing heating services team. In this entry-level role, you’ll assist with hydronic system installations, help troubleshoot and repair boiler systems, and learn how to deliver safe, code-compliant, and high-quality work. You'll gain exposure to a variety of system types while developing into a skilled boiler technician.
This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a long-term career in the trades through paid training and field experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead technicians with boiler system installations and repairs
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to/from job sites
- Prep, cut, and measure piping for hydronic systems
- Help install controls, pumps, valves, and venting components
- Observe and follow all safety procedures, PPE usage, and jobsite protocols
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Ask questions and learn proper techniques for boiler diagnostics and servicing
- Support job documentation by taking photos and assisting with paperwork
- Attend team training and safety meetings regularly
- Provide excellent customer service through professionalism and respect on every job

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- No prior experience required—training provided
- Mechanically inclined or experience in construction, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus
- Willingness to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
