The position:
We are looking for someone to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In this position you will:
- Assist a Producer in managing a book of business
- Assist customers with all policy and coverage questions on a day-to-day basis
- Assist a Producer in the quoting process for both new and renewal business, including preparing applications, preparing quotes on carrier websites, preparing proposals, binding coverage, etc.
- Process certificates of insurance for customers
- Process and manage change requests for customers
- Assist customers with claims questions
- Process daily calls and e-mails from customers, producers and underwriters in a timely manner
- Maintain client files in the agency management system in an orderly and up-to-date manner
- Manage invoicing on agency billed policies
- Other duties as assigned
What makes you successful:
A successful Account Manager needs to
- Preferably have five to ten years of experience in the insurance industry
- Be trustworthy, ethical, hardworking, self-motivated and goal oriented
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Be willing to learn and take directions
- Ability to use technology to efficiently manage a large workload
