What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Cook, assisted living position at Beehive Homes of Snowflake?
What You'll Do
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents
- Follow menus and special dietary needs (such as soft, low-sodium, or diabetic-friendly)
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and up to food safety standards
- Track food inventory and let the manager know when supplies are low
- Treat residents with patience, kindness, and respect
What We're Looking For
- Experience cooking in a home, restaurant, or care setting (preferred, not required)
- Reliability. Residents count on their meals being ready on time
- A warm, caring attitude toward seniors
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [25] lbs
- Food handler's permit (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
