Beehive Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time IT Director to work in our Rexburg Administration Office. This position works 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. The expected pay is $103,000 per year, DOE.
Job Description
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Specific vision abilities require close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perspective, depth perception and ability to focus.
Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled private office with minimal noise.

Job Description
- Leads all technological development and eff orts of the credit union including: monitoring, scheduling, assigning, and reviewing IT related projects. Directs the effective delivery of networks, security, support, and system administration eff orts. Assists in developing the credit union's technical vision and eff orts to achieve technological, business, and member experience objectives.
- Oversees development and maintenance of disaster recovery systems and processes. Effectively allocates assigned resources to meet IT needs. Works with internal IT staff and external IT vendors to ensure all hardware and software is functional, contributes to effective and efficient work by staff , is compliant with cybersecurity policies.
- Leads the Information Technology department. Acts as a good steward of the credit union's resources and ensures control of technology budgets.
- Performs other duties as assigned and performs all duties in compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. Works at or attends community events as assigned. Strives in all that they do to enhance the member experience at BFCU, including actively engaging in needs-based cross-servicing.
- Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
- (1) A bachelors or masters degree in technology, cybersecurity, or related field or (2) eight years experience in technology or cybersecurity or (3) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a higher education degree (e.g. CISSP).
- Thorough knowledge of hardware systems, system software, networks, and application software development.
- Previous financial institution and USERS software experience preferred.
- Must have excellent resource management, project planning, organizational, human relations and communication skills.
- Must be able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.
