Littles Early Learning Center in Benton is dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children where they can learn, grow, and develop. The center serves 24 children ages 1 year to school age.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Timeline:
The position is full-time with several day shift options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Oversee daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime.
- Use positive discipline techniques to guild children's behavior.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency and quaility.
- Communicate regularly with families about their child's development and classroom activies.
- Stay current on CPR and First Aid certifications and professional development regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in early childhood education. Lead Teacher qualified.
- Knowledge of Kansas child care regulations and licensing requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- A passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
