Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Crew Members to join our team at a fast-paced quick service restaurant. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the efficient operation of our kitchen and front-of-house areas. You will be responsible for preparing food, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
Duties
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking orders accurately and responding to inquiries.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for processing transactions and managing orders.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
- Support other crew members as needed to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills; retail math experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling, cash register operations, and customer service best practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
