Beechwood Sales and Service has an excellent opportunity as an Overnight Warehouse Supervisor. This position is a hands-on role that will provide valuable knowledge and experience in supply chain operations within the beverage and distribution industry. This individual will be accountable for the safe, accurate, and efficient loading of all Beechwood delivery trucks. Must supervise and motivate a team of approximately 20 employees comprising of forklift operators & order selectors. Primary objectives include lowering operating costs through analysis reporting and executing initiatives to reduce breakage loss, increase labor productivity, and minimize loading errors. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates interested in the Supply Chain and Logistics field with potential for career progression.

The schedule for this position is overnight with hours Sunday-Thursday 7:30 PM -4:00 AM.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide supervision and leadership of staff in order selection and loading procedures
• Manpower and Equipment planning of all assigned personnel
• Analysis and action on Key Operating Indicators (KOI)
• Ensure the proper upkeep of the warehouse
• Supervise and direct the movement of delivery assets in preparation for loading
• Inform management of equipment deficiencies
• Assist in loading delivery trucks
• Load invoicing through VIP software and file transmission to vendor partners
• Administer Voice Pick oversight of software and assigned equipment
• Familiarity with OSHA and Company SOP
• Back-up to Night Warehouse Manager as needed

Essential Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business related major
• Excellent communication ability
• Experience in wholesale delivery and/or warehouse operations
• Knowledge of computer systems
• Managerial experience

Critical Physical Demands:

• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment including, but not limited to, computer keyboard, telephone, adding machine and copier
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jack, hand truck
• Climbing stairs and inclined surfaces on an occasional basis
• Walking on hard surfaces on a frequent basis
• Frequent exposure to temperatures ranging from 30 - 100 degrees F on a seasonal basis
• Two handed lifting of up to 40 pounds from floor to shoulder height on a regular basis
