Beech Valley Solutions is assisting our client, a regional CPA firm, with their search for Senior External Audit Associates to support their busy season audit engagements. The firm needs strong, experienced auditors who can quickly integrate into ongoing engagements. These are contract (1099) opportunities with full-time hours in Greenville, SC. Estimated duration is early January through May 1, 2026. Potential for contract-to-hire or direct hire for strong interested candidates.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
- Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting audit experience
- Proficiency in CCH Engagement required
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and audit methodologies
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute audit fieldwork for multiple engagements
- Review workpapers prepared by staff and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify and resolve accounting and auditing issues
- Communicate effectively with clients and engagement teams
- Ensure all audit documentation meets professional standards and deadlines
Salary : $60 - $75
