What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Consultant position at Beech Valley Solutions?
We are seeking Accounting & Operations Consultants at the Staff through Manager level to support day-to-day accounting, finance, and operational activities onsite in Boca Raton, FL. Depending on experience level, consultants may provide hands-on accounting support or take ownership of key processes, deliverables, and team coordination. This is a 1099 contract opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with operational accounting needs and resolve discrepancies
- Partner with accounting, finance, and operations stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and documentation
- At more senior levels, take ownership of deliverables and provide guidance to team members
What We're Looking For
- Accounting or finance experience at the Staff, Senior, or Manager level
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and processes
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting or financial systems
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite in Boca Raton, FL
