Position Summary

We are seeking a Recreation Aide to assist with planning and implementing recreational and activity programs for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
• Set up and clean up activity areas and materials.
• Document resident participation and responses to activities.
• Transport residents to and from activity areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in activities or recreation in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and interest in working with older adults.
