Beech Mountain Resort is looking for energetic Snowboard Instructors who are passionate about helping others experience the thrill of snowboarding. In this role, you will introduce beginners to the sport, help riders refine their technique, and encourage progression through engaging, hands-on instruction.
Successful instructors are approachable, patient, and committed to creating a positive experience that keeps guests excited about returning to the mountain.
Responsibilities
*Lead snowboard lessons for individuals and groups across a variety of skill levels.
*Provide clear instruction and constructive feedback to help students progress.
*Create a welcoming and enjoyable learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.
*Emphasize safe riding practices and mountain awareness at all times.
*Attend required training sessions, workshops, and certification programs.
*Uphold resort standards for professionalism, appearance, and guest interaction.
*Contribute to a team culture focused on exceptional service and memorable experiences.
Qualifications
*Intermediate snowboarding skills or the motivation to advance your riding ability.
*Passion for outdoor recreation and working with people.
*Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
*Ability to perform duties in changing weather and winter conditions.
*Availability to work weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal periods.
*Dependable transportation and comfort traveling in snowy conditions.
*Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring is beneficial but not required.
