Position: Middle School Paraprofessional

The Beebe School District is accepting applications for a Middle School Paraprofessional. We are seeking a dedicated, student-centered individual who is committed to supporting teachers and helping students achieve academic, social, and emotional success in a positive learning environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities.
• Provide individual and small-group academic support under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Reinforce instructional concepts and classroom expectations.
• Support students with organization, classroom routines, and behavioral expectations.
• Help supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties.
• Assist with preparing instructional materials, classroom organization, and clerical tasks.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or supervising teacher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must meet Arkansas Department of Education requirements for paraprofessionals, if applicable.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, students, and parents.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Successful completion of required background checks and all district employment requirements. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with school-age children.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Familiarity with educational technology and classroom management practices.

Terms of Employment

• Position: Full-time
• Contract: 183-day classified employee contract
• Salary: According to the Beebe School District Classified Salary Schedule
• Benefits: Eligible for district benefits in accordance with Board policy and applicable employment guidelines.
