The Patient Care Technician functions in an expanded role after meeting pre-established educational and certification criteria in the performance of at least three (3) key skill roles. These roles include Nursing Assistance, Unit Secretary/Monitor Technician, Phlebotomy, and EKG.ResponsibilitiesSkill Proficiency. Problem Solving
Computer order entry. Transcribing of physician orders.Prioritizes.Reports.Departmental.Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment. Correctly labels specimens and processes
