Duties
- Receive incoming shipments using RF scanners and manually unload goods with proper safety techniques
- Stock shelves, produce sections, or storage areas with merchandise, ensuring accurate placement and organization
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual carts to load and unload products safely
- Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management systems, and reporting discrepancies
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks efficiently
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products neatly and ensuring retail store product knowledge is up-to-date
- Perform routine cleaning, maintenance of equipment, and safety checks to uphold warehouse standards
Skills
- Proficiency in operating RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock accuracy
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices and manual handling procedures
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Experience in retail store environments or warehouse operations is highly desirable
- Customer service orientation combined with effective teamwork and organizational abilities
