Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for clients requiring non-emergency medical travel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers door-to-door, ensuring their safety and comfort, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of safety, and the ability to navigate effectively using GPS and other apps.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Assist passengers with door-to-door service, including loading and unloading both passengers and belongings.
• Operate passenger vans and shuttle vehicles with professionalism and care.
• Communicate effectively with clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off details, providing excellent customer service.
• Follow scheduled routes using GPS navigation, company apps, and other tools to ensure punctuality.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicle interior and exterior regularly.
• Report vehicle status, mileage, and any maintenance needs accurately to dispatch or management.
• Complete all required documentation, including logs, maintenance records, and incident reports clearly and promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols to ensure passenger security at all times.
• Lift up to 70 lbs as needed for loading/unloading or assisting passengers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating passenger vans or shuttle vehicles preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GPS navigation tools and ability to read maps or directions effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Reliable, energetic, team-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs comfortably.
• Safety-conscious mindset with attention to detail in vehicle maintenance and passenger care.
• Ability to follow schedules accurately and adapt to changing routes or conditions as needed.
