Job Summary
Come mid June, a loving family seeking a nanny who embodies flexibility, empathy, and reliability to provide care for a delightful 3-year-old girl. The mother is completing her residency, while the father, a military member, will be relocating to Utah at a later time. Hence, the mother is in need of additional support to look after her daughter, assist with child-related duties, and handle some child laundry. The child will attend part-time preschool 2 days a week during the school year. The ideal candidate should possess a background in early childhood education, hold a college degree, or have relevant experience in the field of education. While the family has a cat, no care is required for the pet, but the candidate should be comfortable working around it. Moreover, the candidate must be vaccinated with general vaccines, including flu, MMR, and T-dap.
Weekly schedule adjustments are made to accommodate the mother's work commitments. The workdays typically run from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with core hours set between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Some half-days may be included as needed. The total weekly workload is around 40 hours. Additionally, extra support will be necessary during the 9 weeks each year when the mother is on call. Initially, the schedule will cover 3 out of 4 weeks per month until the father relocates to Utah, with the exact date still pending.
