Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive personal care assistance, including helping with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Offer medication reminders and help with errands
• Support clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning to promote a safe and comfortable environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and ensure client safety.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean background is required
• 1 year of prior experience working in home healthcare settings, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Core skills: Home & community care, patient care, senior care
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs when applicable
• Current CPR and First Aid certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) training is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards under HIPAA regulations while maintaining patient privacy
