We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) with CNA or PSS certification to join our team for full-time overnight shifts. Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and safely according to established protocols and medical documentation standards.
- Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Monitor vital signs and observe for changes in health status, reporting any concerns promptly to nursing staff or supervisors.
- Support residents with dementia or memory care needs by implementing specialized care plans tailored to individual requirements.
- Ensure a safe environment by adhering to HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and emergency procedures during overnight shifts.
- Ensure facility is clean, sanitized, and ready for morning operations.
Requirements
- Certification as a CRMA or equivalent qualification is required.
- Certification as a CNA or PSS is required.
- Experience caring for people with dementia is preferred.
- Experience in residential care facility or assisted living settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential.
- Familiarity with dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Must be able to work overnight shifts.
Pay: $19.67 - $21.75 per hour
