Brief Summary: The Fabrication General Manager oversees and coordinates operations in Bedrosians' Tile and Fabrication departments, located both onsite and at installation locations. This role is critical for ensuring smooth workflows, high-quality production, and effective collaboration between department managers and ownership. This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, product quality, and production rate. They also oversee sales support, staffing, safety, equipment, consumables, and full P&L.
Essential Functions:
Sales & Projects
- Develop and execute plan to drive sales, ensuring revenue and profitability goals are met.
- Responsible for developing appropriate staffing model to ensure correct positions are in place for bidding, estimating, sales, templating, fabrication, work scheduling, staff scheduling, production rate, machine maintenance, etc.
Production
- Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure production appropriately meets and supports company goals and align fabrication operations with nationwide sales initiatives.
- Responsible for all daily operations of the Slab Fabrication and Tile Fabrication departments, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are met.
- Evaluate shift production performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure both new and established projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Ensure all in-branch fabrication processes are running efficiently and adhere to quality standards.
Equipment
Coordinate with staff to:
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and repaired
- Procure equipment, consumables, and materials for production
- Work closely with corporate leadership on capital planning for fabrication machinery and facilities
People & Safety
Coordinate with shift managers to:
- Align schedules and staffing levels
- Resolve issues
- Improve communication between each shift
- Lead training programs
- Ensure a safety-first culture through both audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations are enforced across all operations.
- Oversee staffing strategies, partnering with HR on recruitment, training, skill development, and performance management.
Corporate Responsibilities
- Develop and implement department goals and KPIs for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Communicate production schedule throughout organization.
- Able to manage department budget and production costs.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior leadership, including metrics, successes, and areas for improvement

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Required:
- 5 years of management experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction setting.
- Able to wear a full-face respirator.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L, operational KPIs, and multi-team leadership responsibilities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Able to understand Profit & Loss statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to make sound, independent judgments
- Capacity and desire to expand knowledge of software capabilities
- Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
- Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
- Able to handle regular interruptions to serve the needs of others while maintaining focus on multiple priorities and short- and long-term deadlines
- Able to finish projects both quickly and accurately
- Able to proactively seek out ways to improve upon existing methodologies

Work Environment:
When in-office: well-lit, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office and showroom setting with adequate ventilation. When on production floor: well-lit, covered outdoor areas with adequate ventilation, wet and uneven floors, and heavy machinery running.
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
