Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville Tn supporting day-to-day operations of a residential property community. This role assists with resident relations, including handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The Assistant Manager helps oversee leasing activities, processes applications, prepares lease documents, and coordinates move-ins and move-outs. Responsibilities include monitoring rent collections, processing payments, assisting with budget tracking, and supporting basic financial reporting. The role also collaborates with maintenance and vendor teams to coordinate work orders, ensure timely completion of repairs, and maintain community standards. The Assistant Manager works closely with the Property Manager to implement company policies, support marketing efforts, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or residential real estate operations, including leasing, rent collection, and resident relations.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle conflict resolution and foster positive resident experiences.
- Basic financial and administrative skills, including comfort with budgets, payment processing, reporting, and recordkeeping.
