What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Operations Manager position at Bedrock Plumbing (Non-union)?

THE ROLE
This is the business engine of our plumbing division. You run everything from the first phone
call to the moment a tech is dispatched, plus the whole back office behind it. You are a true
peer to our operations leader. He runs the field from dispatch to a job done well. You run the
business. You report straight to the owner.
This is not a receptionist-plus role. It is a manager who owns the numbers, the systems, and
the pipeline, and makes the whole operation run clean.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
● The money: QuickBooks Online, AP, AR, reconciliation, and reporting.
● The pipeline: every job booked, scheduled, dispatched, and invoiced in HouseCall
Pro.
● The front desk: you lead our CSR and dispatcher and keep phones, scheduling, and
customers handled.
● People and compliance: onboarding, payroll inputs, licenses, permits, insurance,
and safety.
● Systems and office: the calendar, the meetings, the SOPs, and the supplies.
WHO YOU ARE
● Fluent in QuickBooks Online. This one is non-negotiable.
● Experienced in HouseCall Pro or a similar field-service platform.
● 3 years running an office, ideally in the trades or home services.
● You own AP and AR end to end and hold a standard.
● You build the system. You do not wait for someone to hand you one.
● Direct, organized, and calm under a busy phone.
● Trades, restoration, or construction background is a plus.
WHAT WE OFFER
● Total compensation $75,000 to $100,000 , base plus bonus, based on your
QuickBooks and management depth.
