Summary:

Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehab is seeking a reliable and compassionate Activity Aide to join our dynamic team! As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing recreational activities, providing assistance with daily living tasks, and promoting a sense of community and socialization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily activity programs, including recreational, educational, and social activities
• Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, as needed
• Promote a sense of community and socialization among residents through group activities and events
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions and collaboration
• Monitor and report any changes or concerns regarding residents' physical or emotional well-being
• Maintain accurate records of resident activities, attendance, and progress
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
