Job Summary
The Human Capital & Culture Generalist is responsible for supporting key Human Resources and employee experience initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to support recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, compliance, and organizational culture initiatives that contribute to a high-performing and people-focused work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual will play an active role in enhancing the employee experience, improving HR processes, and supporting initiatives that align with BEDGEAR’s culture, values, and business objectives.

Essential Functions (included But Not Limited To)
Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Manage full-cycle recruiting processes including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
- Partner with hiring managers to align recruiting strategies with departmental hiring needs.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Track recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support workforce planning initiatives and talent pipeline development.
- Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless and engaging new hire experience.
- Facilitate orientation schedules, training coordination, system access, and new hire readiness.
- Partner with managers to support successful employee integration and ramp-up.
- Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding programs, materials, and processes.
- Serve as a responsive resource for employee questions and support needs.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, celebrations, and culture-building activities.
- Draft internal communications, announcements, and employee updates.
- Support initiatives that reinforce accountability, collaboration, and organizational engagement.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with BEDGEAR’s values.
- Maintain HR compliance processes including I-9 audits, employee documentation, and policy acknowledgments.
- Support HRIS management, reporting, and data integrity within HR systems.
- Assist with performance review cycles and compliance-related training programs.
- Process employment verifications, badge management, and shared mailbox administration.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive employee information.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, HR documentation, workflows, and process guides.
- Identify operational gaps and implement scalable process improvements.
- Support cross-functional initiatives aligned with organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Provide backup support for office operations and workplace initiatives as needed.
- Assist with vendor coordination and employee workplace experience initiatives.
- Support special projects and additional operational responsibilities as assigned.

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify
- English proficient (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Successful completion of a criminal background check is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1 year of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, operations, or a related role.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, or employee engagement initiatives.
- SHRM membership or certification preferred.
- Experience working in a growth-oriented or entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong desire to continue growing within Human Capital and Culture.
