Position Overview:Bedford Post Inn is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Manager to lead revenue generation across event sales, group room blocks, and on-property programming. This individual will be responsible for cultivating new business, nurturing existing relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives that elevate the Inn’s position as a premier luxury destination in Westchester County.
The ideal candidate is strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable closing a high-touch wedding, securing corporate retreats, and conceptualizing revenue-driving programming that enhances guest experience and community engagement.
Event Sales:

Prospect, develop, and close social and corporate event business, including weddings, meetings, milestone celebrations, brand activations, private dining experiences, and more.

Lead the full sales cycle from inquiry through contract.

Conduct site tours and curate bespoke proposals aligned with the Inn’s luxury positioning.

Achieve and exceed revenue targets for event space rental, food & beverage minimums, and ancillary services.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform sales strategy.

Secure and manage group room blocks tied to weddings, retreats, corporate offsites, local partnerships, etc.

Proactively develop relationships with corporate planners, agencies, and local organizations to drive weekday occupancy.

Collaborate closely with the front desk team to ensure seamless group execution.

Conceptualize and sell revenue-generating programming (I.e., seasonal events, ticketed experiences, retail pop-ups, brand collaborations, community events, wellness events, etc.).

Identify strategic partnerships with luxury brands and local businesses that align with the Bedford Post Inn clientele.

Analyze performance data and adjust strategies to maximize profitability and guest engagement.

Serve as a primary point of contact for high-value clients.

Maintain and grow a robust network within the local community and regional luxury market.

Represent the Inn at industry events, networking functions, and community engagements.

6 years of hospitality sales experience, preferably within luxury boutique hotels, high-end event venues, or destination properties.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals across events and group sales.
