Job Summary:

As a beautician/barber/hairdresser, you will be styling, cutting and coloring hair for men & women who are residents of our long term care facility. You will usually work one day per week in our facility to meet the needs of our residents.
Requirements:
Must be a licensed beautician/barber/hair dresser in the State of Mississippi.
Duties:
• Uses hair care tools and equipment safely and effectively to avoid accidents.
• Provides hair care services including shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling.
• Analyzes facial features and recommend appropriate hair styles to residents.
• Performs hair shaping, curling, straightening, trimming, bleaching, dyeing and tinting services as requested.
• Performs hair treatments including conditioning and scalping.
• Provides quality customer services and maintains high standard of professionalism
• Follows safety, sanitation and healthy standards.
• Adheres to salon policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintains the workstation clean, safe and organized.
• Cleans and sterilize hair care tools regularly.
• Reports unsafe circumstances and inappropriate customer behaviors to Manager immediately.

This job advertisement is for an independent contractor. The Beautician/Barber will not be an employee of the facility. Execution of a Beautician/Barber Agreement is required prior to beginning this job.
