Responsibilities:
- Obtain Retro Authorizations
- Review A/R and follow up on unpaid claims and denials- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payor specific guidelines
- Posting payments-Cross-train for all aspects of revenue cycle management
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Minimum of 2 years revenue cycle management
- Knowledge of insurance requirements and guidelines
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines
- Knowledge of compliance with regulatory guidelines such at HIPAA
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
