What You’ll Do
As the Assistant Property Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our community running smoothly and our residents happy. You’ll:
- Support leasing efforts by showing apartments, conducting tours, and creating a welcoming first impression for prospects.
- Assist with the screening and qualification process for new residents while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Help manage day-to-day operations — from rent collections and move-outs to vendor coordination and work order follow-ups.
- Partner closely with the Property Manager and Maintenance team to deliver a top-tier resident experience.
- Handle resident inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
- Lead by example, helping train and motivate on-site team members.
- Keep our community looking its best through daily inspections and attention to detail.
- At least 3 years of multifamily property management experience.
- Strong communication and people skills — you enjoy connecting with residents and team members alike.
- A knack for organization, multitasking, and problem-solving.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and correct errors before they become issues.
- Confidence to take initiative and make sound decisions.
- Familiarity with property management software (Yardi preferred).
- Basic accounting knowledge and an understanding of community budgeting.
- Weekend availability when needed.
