Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. This role will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals and ensuring they meet their sales targets. The Sales Manager will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to drive business development and technical sales.
Responsibilities:
Team Management and Support:
· Manage and mentor the cabinet designers, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.
· Answer designers' questions and assist in resolving any issues related to design, client interactions, or project specifications.
· Ensure designers align with company sales objectives and standards, facilitating their professional growth.
Business Development:
· Establish and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, and potential clients to drive new business opportunities.
· Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand the company's market presence.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
Client Relations:
· Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, including custom cabinetry and design recommendations.
· Communicate effectively with clients throughout the sales process, ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation to project completion.
Marketing and Sales Strategy:
· Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and trade shows.
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies and product offerings.
Sales Operations:
· Oversee the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies.
· Monitor sales metrics and performance, providing regular reports to the President and recommending improvements as needed.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
· Work closely with production, purchasing, and installation teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
· Collaborate with other departments to develop new products and services that meet customer demands.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sales manager or in a leadership role within a sales team
- Strong understanding of sales and business development strategies
- 5 years in the construction/cabinetry industry is preferred.
