Journeyman Electrician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have commercial experience and a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and fixtures in commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret electrical plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation.
• Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety procedures at all times.
• Document work performed and report progress or issues to supervisors regularly.

Experience

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification.
• Commercial electrical experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with the unique requirements of commercial projects.
• Proven ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
