Outside Sales Representative

Job Title: Outside Sales - LA Territory

Reports to: Company Partners

Position Type: Full Time

Role: This position is responsible for assisting customers with product orders via face-to-face interactions, over the phone, or through other electronic communications. It is the responsibility of this role to be knowledgeable in the area of agricultural products in order to provide quality, accurate customer service tailored to the specific customer’s needs.

Job Duties: [core responsibilities]

· Identify and establish contact with potential customers

· Schedule and perform product demonstrations with established and potential customers

· Develop and maintain relationships with customers

· Utilize Company software and equipment to write and process customer orders

· Answer incoming sales calls

· Ensure customers are assisted in a quick and friendly manner

· Exercise discretion and good judgement regarding daily work, including prioritizing customer needs and urgency of orders

· Utilizes computer system to locate customer orders

· Create a positive relationship with customers by providing product recommendations and product knowledge

· Sell Company merchandise and set-ups in designated territory to all customers

· Grow territory to meet sales objectives

· Other duties as assigned by Company Partners

· Is able to manage time and prioritize work with little, to no, direct supervision

· Can and must maintain confidentiality and sensitive company material or information

· Is detailed oriented, with organization skills

Qualifications: [Education, Credentials, Certifications]

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Prior sales experience with an emphasis in the agriculture industry strongly preferred

· A minimum of 2 years’ Customer Service experience required

· Passing a pre-employment drug screening

· Provide satisfactory evidence of your ability to work in the United States

Physical Demands:

· Must be able remain standing for sustained periods of time

· Worker is subject to environmental conditions both inside and outside

· Worker is subject to warehouse conditions with narrow aisles or passageways.

· Climbing, Ascending or descending ladders, using feet, legs and/or hand and arms

· Lifting objects from a lower to higher position weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance

· Grasping with fingers to lift product

· Travel is more than 80%

Compensation:

· Commission

Pay: $55,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
