Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Plow Operator and Side Walk Shoveling Technician to efficiently manage snow removal operations during winter months. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, safety protocols, and outdoor maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a background in landscaping, lawn care, or construction, with skills in mechanical knowledge, use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to community safety and property maintenance through professional snow plowing services.
Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow trucks and related equipment to clear streets, parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks effectively and safely.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plow vehicles to ensure optimal functioning.
- Use hand tools and power tools for minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, gardening, irrigation, and hardscape projects during off-season periods.
- Support other outdoor maintenance activities including lawn care, landscape maintenance, tree care, and general property upkeep.
- Follow safety procedures related to equipment operation and outdoor work environments.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts during adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with snow plowing or outdoor equipment operation preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus.
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, or construction is desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other landscaping or construction machinery.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads when necessary.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Valid driver’s license required; experience operating large vehicles or trucks is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
