We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Civil or Structural Engineer to join our growing team. You will contribute to a diverse range of projects spanning residential and commercial buildings, foundations, retaining walls, and other structures — from preliminary design through construction administration. This role is well-suited to a licensed P.E. ready to lead project tasks or an E.I.T. eager to grow toward licensure under experienced mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems.
- Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support.
- Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
- Support project managers with scoping, scheduling, and client communication.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Licensure (one required): Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certificate, or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in any U.S. state.
Technical skills
- Proficiency or ability to learn structural analysis software (RISA, StruCalc, or equivalent).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.
- Working knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, ACI 318, AISC 360/341.
- Familiarity with general construction procedures and methods for wood, masonry, concrete, and steel structures.
- Familiarity with geotechnical reports and foundation design a plus.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
