Beckley Engineering Consultants, LLC (BEC) is a growing structural engineering firm based in Brooksville, Florida. We provide structural design and consulting services for a wide range of projects including commercial buildings, renovations, additions, custom residential work, and specialty structural projects. We are looking for someone who is dependable and detail oriented. This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate work and can work well in a small office environment.
Duties
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and other data provided by engineers.
- Use CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit to produce accurate and precise drawings. Revit is the main program for drafting at BEC.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure that drawings meet project requirements and specifications.
- Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate changes or modifications.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and other related documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
-Working proficiency in Revit is required; AutoCAD experience also preferred
- Familiarity with structural design principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret sketches, specifications, and other technical data.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers.
Please note that this is not an entry level position. We are seeking candidates with prior experience in drafting and proficiency in Revit. Entry level will be considered if the the candidate has obtained drafting training from a technical school or similar. Compensation will be adjusted based on experience level.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
