What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cnc Operator & Programmer - 1st shift position at Beckett Thermal Solutions?
Description:
- Produce accurate parts utilizing CNC machining centers from prints and work
instructions. - Should have knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, and fixtures. Including inspection
of cutting tool effectiveness and wear. - Measure high tolerance parts by using precision measuring instruments such as:
micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, dial indicators, go no-go gages, height stands.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Fanuc & Haas controlled CNC lathe and mill centers.
- Must be able to inspect your work and verify all work performed.
- Required to have ability to program from 3D models and 2D CAD.
- Ability to use instruments like micrometers, calipers, optical comparator, dial indicators,
go/no-go gages, and height stands. - Gibbs CAM knowledge a plus!
