Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Management & Oversight: Oversee company financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, job cost tracking, and financial reporting. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information.
· Operational Support: Partner with leadership to streamline internal processes, improve operational efficiency, and support cross-department collaboration.
· Accounting & Systems Management: Manage and optimize construction accounting systems, with advanced proficiency in construction accounting software (Sage Intacct experience is a plus).
· Leadership & Collaboration: Provide leadership and guidance to administrative and operational staff as needed. Support a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
· Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present financial and operational reports to ownership. Analyze data to support informed business decisions.
· Technology & Tools: Utilize Microsoft 365 applications at an expert level to support reporting, communication, and workflow efficiency.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
· Master’s degree and/or CPA a plus, but not required
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial and/or operations management
· Experience within the construction or electrical industry strongly preferred
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to proficiently use computer software such as Microsoft 365
