Outside Customer Relations
Description
Becker Safety and Supply is growing its outside sales force in the Northern Front Range. This role requires a passionate and driven individual to be highly successful as the Outside Sales Representative. The main objective for this role is to generate business opportunities with new and existing accounts in the industrial sector. This candidate must be driven to develop opportunities with key customers through networking, meeting with and presenting to corporate contacts, executives, safety professionals, and field level end users.
Job Summary
- This position will cover primarily Northern Colorado
- Primary industry targets – Power & Utilities, Manufacturing & Construction, Oil and Gas
- Flexible Schedule
- Reports directly to the Director of Outside Sales
Main Responsibilities
- Drive Becker Safety’s product offering to new and existing accounts in the power utilities, manufacturing & construction industries
- Possess strong knowledge of Becker Safety’s products and services
- Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients and Becker Safety team members
- Grow the sales pipeline with net new opportunities
- Assist the client in determining the correct product for their needs
- Create effective proposals and presentations to convey the product solution to the client
- Regularly meet with team lead to discuss sales targets, strategies, and sales results
- Plus, other duties assigned
Initial Job Requirements, Experience, and Skills
Requirements:
- 5 years of related sales experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Pass background check and drug test
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work in conjunction with team goals and core values (Positive, Adaptive, Together, Helpful)
Experience:
- Proven track record of increasing market share and securing new business
- Service to clients in a sales role or working in the safety industry with gas detection knowledge
- Strong background of account management
- Ability to demonstrate their network of clients for immediate opportunities
- Excellent business acumen and negotiating skills
- Relationship building capabilities – Be their trusted advisor
