What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Technician position at Becker Morgan Group, Inc?
Basic Function: Performs routine structural engineering assignments.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Perform specific CAD/BIM drafting of engineering designs
- Works from the design of others and under the direct supervision of P.E. and Structural Designers
- Site visits to inspect/measure existing building conditions
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong personal organizational and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and work with a group and on an individual basis
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.)
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of experience in structural design
- AutoCAD experience preferred
- Revit experience preferred
