What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Designer position at Becker Morgan Group, Inc?
Basic Function: Perform routine structural engineering assignments.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities, included but not limited to:
- Engineering of various structures such as steel, concrete, masonry and wood-frame, under the supervision of a P.E.
- Perform CAD/BIM drafting of engineering designs
- Site visits to inspect/measure existing building conditions
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong personal organizational and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and work with a group and on an individual basis
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.)
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
- 2 years of experience in structural design
- AutoCAD experience
- Revit experience
Certifications/Licenses:
- EIT Certification preferred
Salary : $50,000 - $95,000
